Small community grants up for grabs

Winchester City Council, which includes Whiteley, Wickham and Denmead, has opened the grants scheme for applications.

Cllr Stephen Miller said: ‘A small grant can make a real difference to a community.

‘We endeavour to fund a wide range of organisations and activities across the district to help make things happen.

‘The small grants are an essential source of funding for groups.’
