Sailing into a bygone age
This wonderfully-evocative and majestic photograph immediately transports us to another age.
It shows HMS Victory and the Royal Yacht Victoria and Albert in Portsmouth Harbour.
No date is available but it must be before 1922, the year Nelson’s flagship was moved into dry dock.
