Race for Life Pretty Muddy run: Hundreds get filthy on Southsea Common for Cancer Research UK event - in pictures

Hundreds of people got wonderfully dirty while fundraising at today’s Pretty Muddy event during Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life weekend

They came, they saw, they conquered - and they got downright filthy.

This is the Race for Life weekend, an annual event which sees Southsea Common transformed into a sea of pink to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Saturday sees the Pretty Muddy adults and kids’ races, with runners taking on a 5k run which is full of obstacles - and mud.

This morning photographer Marcin Jedrysiak was there to take this wonderful selection of shots for The News - can you spot yourself?
