'It's the best year yet': The Langbrook Farm pub collects hundreds of Christmas presents for children in need with its Tree of Hope
Spreading Christmas kidness is what makes the festive season special at a Havant pub which has launched its Tree of Hope for the tenth year.
As Christmas day nears, The Langbrook Farm pub, in Langstone Road, has been blown away by the generosity of its customers after collecting over 170 presents for children in need.
The Tree of Hope gives customers the opportunity to take a tag home and then donate a gift for the age group or gender selected.

The presents are then taken to the Havant rotary club which distributes the donations to children who have experienced domestic abuse.
Ioana Popa, general manager at the pub, said: “I think every year, the people of Havant become more and more generous.
“We must have 150 presents if not more which is amazing - I love it. It’s the best part of Christmas, we send them to the rotary club where they are taken to the children.
“This year has been the best yet.”
Last year, the pub collected 200 presents but Iona has high hopes to beat that this year after already reaching the 150 mark with a few days to go.
