A Portsmouth woman has won a £77,000 Ferrari in an online competition
A Portsmouth woman who says she hates surprises after enduring a series of devastating personal losses screamed with delight when she discovered she had won a £77,000 Ferrari.
Irmina Trubas was at work when she received a surprise visit from BOTB presenter Christian Williams, who revealed she had won a stunning Ferrari California.
"This is amazing and it means so much. It's such a massive win,” she said.
BOTB holds weekly competitions to win luxury goods, including a spot the ball contest for a dream car. To find out more click here.
Irmina said she deliberately chose not to provide BOTB with her surprise contact details because she dislikes unexpected calls and messages.
For the past two years, surprise notifications she had received had brought bad news following the sudden loss of both of her parents.

When Christian arrived at her workplace and revealed the gleaming Ferrari parked outside, Irmina's initial reaction was disbelief, initially thinking it was a scam.
"I hate surprises because, for me, they've meant a lot of negative things recently and I've experienced some very sad losses,” she said. “But this is more than just winning a car. It means hope, which I haven't really had for the last couple of years."
As the reality of her win began to sink in, Irmina let out a scream of delight, prompting cheers and celebrations from the colleagues gathered around her, who were just as excited as she was.
The high-performance sports car is renowned for its vehicle dynamics, performance and driving pleasure.
The lucky winner then wasted no time getting behind the wheel, jumping into the Ferrari and firing up the engine for the first time as colleagues looked on.
Irmina believes fate may have played a role in her extraordinary win.
"I recently saw an advert and felt like it was calling my name, so I thought I'd give it a go," she said. "I genuinely feel like it's my mum looking after me.”
Irmina is also a BOTB Pass member which automatically enters her into some of its competitions, meaning she had no idea what she had won.
"I've only been a BOTB Pass member for just over a month. After a couple of days I won £25 and I was so excited. I had a feeling that was the first prize of many,” she added.
Christian said: "When Irmina realised she had won, she screamed with pure joy. It was an incredible moment and one that everyone around her shared in. What made this reveal particularly special was hearing about the difficult couple of years she's been through.
"To be able to turn a surprise into something so positive was incredibly rewarding. Seeing her surrounded by supportive colleagues who were celebrating with her made the moment even more memorable.
"The Ferrari California is a fantastic car and a real driver's machine. It's powerful, stylish and delivers an amazing driving experience, so it's a very deserving prize for such a deserving winner.”
BOTB hands over the keys to a dream car each week, while also offering players the option of a cash alternative and a range of lifestyle prizes.
It is also currently offering people the chance to win a luxury three-bedroom home in Central London worth £1.2 million in a competition costing just £1.
