PICTURES: A view from the sky '“ drone captures HMS Queen Elizabeth's departure
THESE stunning photographs show HMS Queen Elizabeth from above.
Portsmouth photographer Ryan Atfield snapped the huge aircraft carrier’s departure from Portsmouth from up in the sky using a drone.
The ship left the city yesterday afternoon to take on a series of rotary wing trials, which will involve helicopters landing and taking off from her four-acre flight deck.
