New Osborn Road carpark in Fareham set to open today - a day ahead of schedule
The new surface-level carpark in Osborn Road in Fareham is set to open today as all three ‘Fareham Live’ car parks open ahead of schedule.
The aging Osborn Road multi-storey car park closed on January 1 and has been demolished and replaced with a new surface level carpark - one of three which will service the new Fareham Live venue which will open this Autumn.
The last bits of work have been ongoing over the last few weeks to put in place the new markings and signage etc and all three carparks will open today (Friday, September 6).
The council has said the carpark will have larger parking spaces and will include four electric vehicle charging points. It also has the capacity to add a further 12 EV spaces if required.
