Bentley-driving travellers given notice to leave Portsmouth tax office site
A GROUP of travellers '“ with top-of-the-range motors '“ are being evicted from a tax office car park after intervention from Portsmouth City Council.
The travellers arrived at Lynx House on Northern Road, Cosham, on Monday at 8pm.

Among the group’s vehicles are two Bentley Continentals and several Mercedes.
As many as 20 caravans will now be moved along from the car park.
Cllr Rob New, cabinet lead for environment and community safety, said: ‘Portsmouth City Council’s Community Wardens went to court to obtain a Section 78 notice.
‘The court successfully awarded the notice, which has been issued by our Community Wardens. Should the group, who are unlawfully parked, not comply with the court order, the police will be on standby to enforce the notice should there be a noncompliance to move on.’
