Plum drawings
Plum was the cartoonist for the Evening News and Football Mail for many years and his superb wit and eye for detail made many a reader smile.
This cartoon comes from January 1950 when Pompey were third in the old First Division and, of course, went on to win the league for the second time in succession.
The way Pompey have been playing so far this season perhaps it’s time to reinstate some of Plum’s work.
