“We’re delighted" - Voi e-bike and scooters used 1.69 million times in 2025 across the Solent
It has become commonplace to see Voi’s red e-scooters and e-bikes on Portsmouth roads over the past few years.
So much so that figures released by the operator show that 1.69 million trips were taken across the Solent via the scheme in 2025 alone.
On top of that, since its launch in 2021, 5.55 million trips have taken place in Portsmouth and Southampton covering nearly 13 million kilometres.
Jim Hubbard, Voi’s UK Head of Public Policy, said: “It’s another record year for Voi in the UK with more people and more places discovering the joys of quick, affordable and easy local transport.
“We’re delighted that so many people in the Solent are taking to two wheels.“
