The club had been working with Fareham Borough Council to relocate the club from Locks Heath to Hillson Drive as a permanent base for the club.

As part of the move the club applied for a £3,600 football foundation grant to fund new mobile goalposts.

Sam Mogan, vice chairman of the club, said: “The club took delivery of the goalposts on the 2 May and a working group of parents and coaches set about building them ready for matches the next day.

“The club are working hard to expand the number of teams within the club, they now have six teams across the age group with a seventh team coming through for next season. This facility will now support those ambitions to grow the club wider.

“The club was formed in 1977 and is due to celebrate its 50th anniversary during the course of next season.”
