The motorcyclist, 20-year-old Cieran Bass, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment where he sadly passed away.

His family have made the following tribute to him: "Our beautiful son, Cieran, was the most loving and caring boy we could ever have wished for. He filled our hearts with so much love, joy, and happiness, and we will cherish every precious memory of him.

"Cieran had the cheekiest smile and a wonderful sense of humour. He had a way of lighting up every room he walked into and making everyone around him smile. He loved tickles, hugs, and making people laugh. Wherever he went, he made friends, and everyone who knew him loved him.

"His passion was motorcycles and cars, and they brought him so much happiness. Cieran had the kindest heart and was always ready to help anyone, day or night. He never expected anything in return - he simply cared about others.

"We are so proud to have been his parents. Cieran will be deeply missed by all his family and friends, and the love, laughter, and memories he gave us will stay in our hearts forever.

"Sleep peacefully, our precious boy. You will be loved always, missed beyond words, and remembered every day."

Officers continue to make enquiries into the collision, and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, captured it on Dash Cam, or perhaps has local CCTV footage.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44260291683.
