Huge piles of black bags have been dumped on the pavement on West Street outside Right Room and India Cottage.

The horrendous “mess” has been littering the space for three months with no end in sight over when it will finally be removed.

Fareham Borough Council’s environmental health team were contacted by an angry resident - but still the rubbish remains.

The fuming local said: “The rubbish has been outside Right Room and next to Indian Cottage. This mess has not been moved for three months.

“The waste is outside a food establishment so I spoke with environmental health which said they would visit - this was three weeks ago. It’s a terrible eyesore.”

Fareham Borough Council has been approached for comment.
