Postcode Lottery: Six neighbours in Portchester scoop £1,000 in daily draw

The group, who live in Robinson Court in Portchester, have each won £1,000 as the daily prize winner in the People’s Postcode Lottery.

It comes after their postcode, PO16 8EE, was selected during Sunday’s draw.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: ‘What amazing news to get on the weekend! Congratulations to our winners.’

The win comes a week after 24 residents in the PO16 8BE postcode – which includes New Town – each were handed £1,000 in the daily draw.

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
