Portsmouth man becomes overnight National Lottery millionaire
A man from Portsmouth has become an overnight millionaire after matching the main numbers along with the bonus ball in the National Lottery.
He has chosen to keep his identity secret and is only known as Mr L – and won the life-changing £1m after buying a Lucky Dip ticket online for the Lotto draw on June 27.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, senior winners adviser at The National Lottery, said: ‘Huge congratulations to Mr. L for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket.

‘After a few simple clicks he has become a millionaire.’
Mr L has become one of eight million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.
Online winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or, like Mr L, release some details through partial publicity.
Over £600m of funding raised through the lottery has been used to support the most vulnerable in communities across the UK during the coronavirus pandemic.
