Friends of his widow Ally have set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help ease the financial burden on the family, with Mark also leaving behind two small children. So far more than £8,600 has been raised.

The GoFundMe fundraiser said: “Unfortunately Ally got the news that her husband Mark had tragically been involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Mark wasn’t just a husband, he was also a dad to two young children; Jack, aged 6 and Kit, aged 3.
