A man was taken to hospital amid fears he had been hit by a car in Havant.

Police investigated the incident in Park Road South on Sunday evening which led to the area being cordoned off. The man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Reports were raised to officers suggesting the man had been struck by a hit and run car - prompting an investigation. But it has now been concluded this was not the case, bringing an end to the police probe.
A police spokesperson said: “A man had suffered a fall and injured himself and was taken to hospital. Concerns were raised to us that he might have been hit by a car.
“However we’ve spoken to the man and made other enquiries and this is not the case, so there is nothing further for police (to investigate).”
