Here’s why multiple fire crews were seen at Queen Alexandra Hospital on Monday morning.

Three fire engines and a fire car were spotted near A&E where the offices are located, sparking fears of a fire at the hospital.

However, the fire service has said firefighters were on site for training purposes. A spokesperson said: “Crews from across Portsmouth were taking part in a high-rise building training exercise at the hospital this morning.”
