A two-bedroom flat in Gosport sold for £67,000. The leasehold property at 10C High Street was among 150 lots listed in southern England in the latest online auction by Clive Emson Auctioneers which concluded on Wednesday.

Joe Rocks, auction appraiser, said: “Located in the heart of Gosport town centre, the first-floor flat, on a 999-year lease from October 2022, was let for many years, producing a healthy income.

“The flat is in reasonable order throughout and, with an estimated rental income of £11,400 per annum, is considered ideal for addition to an income-producing portfolio. However, we are not privy to any plans the new owner may or may not have for the flat.’

Meanwhile a vacant one-bedroom flat at 76B London Road, North End, Portsmouth, fetched £75,000 and is on a 125-year lease from September 2015 at a current ground rental of £200 per annum.

The firm, with a regional office at Whiteley, is a member of Portsmouth Property Association.
