Fareham dentist reinstated after ban for emails slamming 'Indian dentistry'
Dentist reinstated after ban for racially motivated emails
A Fareham dentist who was set to be removed from the profession after saying she did “not want to be connected with Indian dentistry” has been reinstated following an appeal.
Hanna Grzelczak, who worked as a self-employed associate dentist for Damira Dental Studios, said she did not want to be connected with them.

This led to the General Dental Council tribunal banning the 48-year-old from the register resulting in an immediate suspension in September 2025 following a complaint.
But now a High Court judge has ruled the sanction was "excessive and disproportionate" and replaced it with a six-month suspension.
Southampton-based Grzelczak, who originally trained and worked as a dentist in Poland, began work at Damira Dental's Fareham practice in 2022.
From July 2023, she sent a series of emails to the company asking for her name to be removed from its website.
In one email, she wrote: "If you type Hanna Grzelczak dentist in Google. You will see places connected to three surgeries in Damira. Please remove it asap. I don't want to be connected with Indian dentistry."
She then said "please remove my data from Damira places. I am not Indian" before adding: "I feel low with this connection as Damira is NHS low quality service and this is Indian company. It is a shame to me.”
The tribunal banned her for misconduct after finding the emails were racially motivated before the High Court said the decision to remove her from the register was not proportionate. A suspension of six months was deemed more appropriate.
Damira Dental Studios has been approached for comment.
