The 2026 trail returned on Saturday and Sunday to showcase the work of nearly 100 artists across studios, group exhibitions, and community venues throughout the town.
Founded by a small group of local artists, the trail has grown into a nationally recognised event, attracting visitors from across the UK. Artists will open their studios to the public, offering insight into their creative processes and the opportunity to purchase original work directly from the makers.
This year’s trail sees 19 new artists working across a wide range of disciplines, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, textiles, woodwork, jewellery, and glass. Artwork will be available at a variety of price points, ensuring the trail remains accessible to a broad audience.
Individual studios and group exhibitions were held in community centres, pop-up galleries, private gardens, shops, pubs, and other venues, ensuring art is visible throughout Emsworth.
Carol Price, chair of the Emsworth Arts Trail, said: “It has been such a privilege to welcome people to this very special Silver Anniversary Trail. The last 25 years have seen the growth of wonderful creativity in the ever-expanding Emsworth Arts Community, and it continues to flourish and inspire.
“The trail has become the Herald of Spring reaching every corner of our picturesque seaside town.”
All venues were located within approximately one mile of the town centre, making the trail easy to explore on foot or by bicycle.
The trail also takes place from May 2 – 4.
