Meet the charming cat who is seeking a quiet home following the death of her previous owners

Meet Susie - the ‘very sweet’ cat who is looking for a home after both of her previous owners died.

The 12-year-old domestic short hair cat has been taken in by the RSPCA Stubbington Ark, with the team now on the hunt for a new owner with a quiet household so Susie’s can enjoy her senior years in peace.

She will need a home with outside access to a garden and she cannot be homed in Gosport PO12 area. Susie will need to be the only cat or dog in the household she moves to but she can live with older secondary school children.

A spokesperson for Stubbington Ark said: “Susie enjoys some gentle fuss. She will follow socialisers around the unit and then settle nearby. She purrs away and rubs around for the attention. She often doesn’t want socialisers to leave and will keep nudging their hands to as for more strokes. When she is undisturbed in her unit, she gets comfy either in her bed or on a blanket and has a snooze.”

The feline has been neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated, and she is currently on a Purina pro plan hypoallergenic dry food and AVA hypoallergenic wet food to help with potential allergies. Susie has chin acne which will need monitoring in the home and has had a flare up of her eyes which is likely related to her hypersensitivity.

The adoption fee for Susie has been set at £100. For more information about adopting an animal from Stubbington Ark, click here.
