Man suffers serious injuries after roof fall in Portsmouth
PARAMEDICS have rushed a man in his 50s to hospital after he fell off a roof.
He suffered serious chest and arm injuries in the fall, in North End Avenue, Portsmouth, at 5.08pm.
A South Central Service Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: 'It came in at 5.08pm, a man in his 50s fell off a roof.
'We send one rapid response car, one responder and air ambulance.
'He's gone by road to UHS (Southampton General Hospital) and he's serious, he has chest and arm injury.'
The air ambulance landed in nearby Alexandra Park.
