"Loving" and "fun" American bulldog cross searches for new home after winding up at Stubbington Ark at 10-months-old
An “energetic” and loving puppy is on the hunt to find his forever home after winding up at the Stubbington Ark.
Marmaduke, who is only ten-months-old, has been described as a “lovely lad” who “has tons of love to give” to his new family. The American bulldog cross will need capable owners to take him on walks and who are willing to continue his lead training, and confidence building.

Lizzie Cessford, animal care assistant, said: “Marmaduke is a joy to work with. As he’s such a young boy it’s really sad to see him in kennels, and every time I walk past him I can’t resist going to give him a bit of a fuss. He gives the best cuddles once he’s comfortable with you - which doesn’t take long.
“We can’t wait to see him in his forever home and know he will make a loving and fun companion.”
Stubbington Ark are looking at rehoming Marmaduke in an adult only setting, however the team would consider him living with secondary school children who have experience with bigger breeds of dog.
He cannot be homed with small animals, cats or dogs due to his “size and playful nature” but would benefit from having owners who enjoy long walks.
