The £7.75m regeneration scheme, which is being paid for by the Levelling Up Fund and carried out by Beard, will welcome the restoration of the lido, with new changing rooms, benches, tables, fountain and a fully functioning pool pending.
The Portsmouth City Council has been providing fortnightly updates to give an insight into what is going on at the site.
The contractors have finished painting the walls blue and the outdoor showers have now been fitted.
The project, which will be operated by Sea Lanes Brighton, is due to be completed by the end of the autumn with plans to officially launch next summer.

Under the tent, the heaters are in place and automatically kick in if the temperature drops. The temperature for the paint application needs to be above 10 degrees, so one of the heaters is on keeping it nice and cosy in the tent. | PCC

The painters are using tape to make cutting in an easier task. It's easy to do when it's a big square, but in the pool there are lots of circular filters. | PCC
