Transformation of Southsea’s seafront continues as the newly-named Centenary Place comes together

The transformation of Southsea’s seafront is continuing as the newly-named Centenary Place comes together.

The new pirate ship is being installed in the play area which now has colourful surfacing. Works also continue to finish the promenade on the western side of the raised community area which has been named in recognition of Portsmouth celebrating its 100th anniversary of becoming a city.

The promenade area between Blue Reef and Hovertravel is due to reopen before the summer. For more details about the Southsea Coastal Scheme visit southseacoastalscheme.org.uk
