The team at the Southsea Coastal Scheme continue to work on site to create the new-look beach area which will be doubled in size which will create new sea defences for the area and have been focusing their efforts on the area to the east of the pier.
Meanwhile the beach area to the west of the pier has been temporarily closed again to allow the team to start dismantling the pipes that have been used to import the shingle here.
