Foxes Forest clean-up sees Boundary Oak School enlist help from Scouts to tidy up wildlife haven

Schoolchildren and Scouts rolled their sleeves up and set to work cleaning up one of Portsmouth’s havens for wildlife

A school-organised litter pick saw bags filled with rubbish by children of all ages.

Boundary Oak School, which is just north of Fareham, organised a forest clean of Foxes Forest in Hilsea, Portsmouth on Sunday. As well as children from the school, Scouts from 62nd Portsmouth in Cosham were there, as were Portsmouth Forest School. The event was supported by Casemates Studio in the forest.

It was connected to World Environment Day and the school’s charity, WWF. Previously Boundary Oak has organised beach cleans for the occasion.
