Revealing pictures show full scale of saturated and sodden grounds in Portsmouth - with more rain to come

Milton Common, Farlington Marshes and the areas near Lakeside are among those sodden areas still full of water following the recent heavy rain which have not yet had a chance to drain away as a result of the constant downpours over the past week.

It follows a similar picture which can be found in the areas outside the city, with many towns and villages also seeing similar scenes. (Watch the video embedded in this story)

More rain is also forecast for the next few days with a yellow weather warning also remaining in place until 9pm on Friday (February 6).
