Body found in search for missing 88-year-old from Waterlooville
Police have confirmed that a body has been discovered in the search for a missing 88-year-old from Waterlooville.
Reginald Bailey has last been seen on Wednesday, February 4 with police appealing for information to help find him. However police have confirmed the sad news today (February 8) that a body has been found.
A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson said: “Officers searching for missing Reginald Bailey from Waterlooville have sadly discovered the body of a man this afternoon in the Widley area (Sunday 8 February).
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Reginald’s family have been informed. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
“Thank you to all of you who shared our earlier appeal.”
