Astonishing drone footage reveals incredible progress being made at Bransbury Park leisure centre

Construction at a new leisure centre is continuing at pace with its pools taking shape and foundations being laid.

Bransbury Park is constantly changing with contractors, Willmott Dixon, working round the clock to stay on track for the new £22m centre to be complete by the end of next year.

Once complete, the leisure centre will feature a 25m four lane pool, a learner pool, a gym, fitness studios, a GP surgery and a relocated play area, which has recently reopened to the public.

In a Bransbury Park newsletter, Portsmouth City Council said both pools have now been dug out to their full width and depth, marking a major milestone in the project.

Additional parking will be added to the existing car park, which is currently located at the southeast corner of the field.
