Organiser Leading Physical Trainer Jack McCormack said: “We raised an amazing £1,110, with money still coming in.” The event saw athletes attempt to complete as many Hyrox races as possible between 6am and 10pm.

Hyrox is a functional fitness competition combining running with exercises designed for all fitness levels. Participants could compete solo, in pairs, or in teams of four.

A leader board tracked both the fastest completion times and the highest number of races finished. Spectators were welcome to attend and support the athletes throughout the day. Donations can be made to the Samaritans online.
