Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary issued an appeal in a bid to track them down. The force has confirmed that they have since been punished for their crimes.

“We recently appealed for information to help identify two women in connection with a theft from a store in Whiteley,” police said. “The incident occurred on Tuesday 2 June, when approximately £400 worth of makeup and skincare products were stolen from Superdrug.

“Two women have since been spoken to and issued with community resolutions. As part of the outcome, they are required to complete a victim awareness course, helping them to better understand the impact of retail crime on businesses, staff and the wider community.

“They have also been banned from entering Superdrug in Whiteley for three months.”
