Assaulting a police officer was one of a number of offences that Wild committed which activated a suspended sentence which was imposed on December 15, 2025 at the same court for a dangerous driving incident, which took place in Havant on April 4, 2024. The offences are as follows:

  • Theft from a shop – On Monday, April 6, Wild stole £18 worth of alcohol from the One Stop on Hart Plain Avenue
  • Theft from a shop – On Sunday, April 12, Wild stole £36 worth of alcohol from the One Stop on Hart Plain Avenue

  • Theft from a shop – On Sunday, May 3, Wild stole £54.85 worth of meat and alcohol from the One Stop on Hart Plain Avenue
  • Assaulting an emergency worker - On Friday, May 15, Wild assaulted a police officer while resisting arrest by kicking him in the face.

PS Christian Lavin from the Waterlooville North Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “I am pleased to see Wild receive a significant sentence for this series of offences. Whether you are working in a shop or in the emergency services, no one deserves to face abuse at work, and Wild is clearly an individual who does not care how his behaviour impacts those around him.

“I hope this sentence sends a clear message that antisocial and violent behaviour will not be tolerated in Hampshire, and offenders will be pursued and brought to justice for their actions.”

Wild appeared at court on Thursday, May 21 where he was jailed for 54 weeks.F
