A drunken woman who swerved between lanes on the M27 and A27 has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Alison Fletcher, from Gloucestershire, is seen cutting across lanes - as she travelled from Hampshire and into West Sussex. Her shocking driving was captured on a dashcam by a member of public who called police and said “The woman is either asleep or she’s drunk.”

She was stopped by police at Portfield Retail Park, Chichester and found to be four times over the drink-drive limit.
Fletcher was convicted of drink-driving and dangerous driving, and sentenced to 12 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months after pleading guilty to the offences at Worthing Magistrates Court.
She has also been disqualified from driving for 36 months.
