Vile Gosport paedophile, 64, found guilty of numerous sex attacks on girl under 10
A vile 64-year-old Gosport paedophile has been found guilty of numerous sex attacks against a girl aged under 10.
Stephen Street, of Aspengrove, inflicted misery on the child between 2021 and 2024 at an address in the town.
Now the disgraced child sex offender is due to be sentenced after he was found guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court following a nine-day trial.
Jurors returned seven guilty counts of sexual assault of a girl under the age of 13, one count of sexual assault by penetration of a girl under the age of 13, one count of causing or inciting sexual activity with a girl under the age of 13, one count of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and a charge of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
At Portsmouth Crown Court on 19 January Street had also admitted six offences of making/possession of indecent images of children and one offence of possession of extreme pornographic images.
He has been remanded to prison ahead of his sentencing for all offences on 27 March at the same court.
