Exclusive:Victim of Cosham stabbing recalls harrowing moment he was stabbed in broad daylight
Abdul and Attiquallah Shinwari - who are not related - both deny attempted murder.
A man who was stabbed in broad daylight in Cosham earlier this year relived the moment he was attacked in an interview with police.
Abdul and Attiquallah Shinwari are on trial at Portsmouth Crown Court, accused of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm after a stabbing in Hawthorn Crescent on March 12 this year. The former is also charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place. They both deny all charges.

Abdul, 20 from Alma Road, Southampton, was a student at the Highbury campus of the City of Portsmouth College at the time. Attiquallah, 23 from St Helen’s Parade, Southsea, had previously studied there. The two are not related, but appeared in the dock together.
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) alleges that they were part of a group of six that attacked Sefatullah Ibrahimkhel and a friend - although they are the only two who face charges.
One month after being stabbed, Mr Ibrahimkhel gave an interview to police, where he told them there had been a dispute among the group, which he was intent on resolving. The jury at Portsmouth Crown Court has now been shown a video recording of this interview.
Mr Ibrahimkhel said: "I went there to find a solution. I kept telling him [Atiquallah Shinwari] to leave me. I had no problem with them, but they didn't listen.
"Atiquallah was holding me, I didn't know what happened, but I know my leg was stabbed. The next thing I knew, I woke up in the hospital.
"I was not fighting - I had no problem with them. I just wanted to find a solution to the argument."
Other eyewitnesses have already told the jury that they saw Mr Ibrahimkhel try to stand up after being stabbed, but he fell back to the ground. Emergency services arrived on the scene within minutes, and he required immediate and significant surgery to save his life.
From his perspective, it was a short-lived attack, of which his memory is somewhat hazy.
He added: "I saw the blood, but couldn't do much about it. One of them, Atiquallah, had been holding me while the others were fighting.
"It didn't feel like much longer than five or six seconds, honestly. My leg wasn't working - I didn't understand why. I tried to stand up, but couldn't.
"It was only when I woke up in the hospital that they told me I had been stabbed.
"I did not see the knife."
