Man arrested after van driver seen caught touching and exposing himself multiple times in rural Hampshire

Police said they take reports of this nature ‘vary seriously’

A van driver has been touching and exposing himself on multiple occasions while using a company vehicle, police said.

Officers have arrested a man after a series of incidents were reported to them. The first was reported on July 24 at around 7pm, police said, where a man in a company vehicle was “touching himself inappropriately whilst driving his van Church Green” in King’s Worthy.

A male was again seen fondling himself while standing between a hedge and van matching the description of the earlier report. This happened in Springvale Road.

Officers were called again at roughly 5am the following day (July 25) and received reports of a man exposing himself in a company van on the same street. “It was reported that the driver flashed his lights and beeped to get the victim's attention,” Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said.

“Following enquiries, a 36-year-old man from Kings Worthy has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure. He remains in custody at this time. We want to assure you that we take reports of this nature very seriously and will investigate thoroughly -please report any such incidents to us on 101. Always call 999 in an emergency.”
