In an emotional appeal earlier today, her mother Jackie Blunden told the BBC her daughter was eight months pregnant with twins and could soon give birth.

In a tweet, Gloucestershire Police have confirmed Ms Brookshaw has been found ‘safe and well’.

A spokesperson for the force said she was found in Yate, an area about 20 miles from her home.

The discovery came after officers said she could have travelled to Cheltenham, Weston-super-Mare, Northamptonshire or Southampton.
