Police have charged two people following a serious assault
Two people have been charged after a man’s throat was cut with a kitchen knife over the weekend.
Andrew Stone, 44, of Hamlet Way, Gosport, has been charged with attempted murder and Annalise Laura Cheshire, 31, of Beaumont Rise has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
This comes after police officers received a report of a disturbance at an address in Beaumont Rise, Fareham at 10pm on Sunday, June 14. During the 999 call, a 25-year-old man said his throat had been cut, prompting an emergency response.

Officers responded and the injured man was rushed to hospital. He was discharged later that evening after receiving treatment.
The pair have both been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today (June 16).
Updates in due course.
