Teen charged with manslaughter of woman who died from serious injuries after falling from block of flats
A teenager has been charged with the manslaughter of a woman who died from significant injuries after falling from a block of flats.
Emergency services scrambled to the scene of an incident in Cuckmere Lane at approximately 2.45pm on August 28 after Tia Langdon suffered significant injuries.
The 25-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment but tragically died from her injuries.
The investigation established a man and a woman had been with Tia at the time of her death and after working with CPS, the man has been charged with eight offences.
British born Jaiden Hassan-Agard, of Stour Close, Southampton, who identifies as Mixed White and Black Caribbean, has been charged with the manslaughter of Tia.
Hassan- Agard has also been charged with making threats to kill, false imprisonment, and threatening with an offensive weapon in a private place in relation to Tia and the second woman who was at the address at the time.
He has been further charged with kidnap relating to the second victim.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court this morning (September 3).
