‘We are here to keep you safe.’

A 16-year-old boy, from Southsea, has been charged with drink-driving, driving with no insurance or licence, and two assaults on emergency workers.
A car had been stopped in St Simons Road, Southsea, just before 8pm, and the boy found in the driver's seat.
Officers said during the incident two women in the team were spat at, kicked and punched.
The officers suffered actual bodily harm and common assault-type injuries. The boy is due at the city’s youth court on June 1.
In a second incident at the Hovercraft terminal between 7-7.20pm, a 28-year-old man from Gosport was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
He ‘kicked and punched’ officers and was also arrested on suspicion of two assaults on emergency workers, and possession of criminal property.
