Suffolk Police says officers from the West Sentinel ANPR Team attempted to stop the rider of a moped in Newmarket on September 4 2026. But, the driver - Luiz Sobrinho - made off at high speed through Newmarket to evade police.
The force says units ahead were able to deploy a stinger and deflate the bike's tyres. Sobrinho tried to flee on foot, but was arrested by police.
