Southsea Common stabbing: 15-year-old victim in 'stable condition' in hospital, police say
A TEENAGER who was stabbed in Southsea Common and rushed to hospital by air ambulance earlier this week is now in a ‘stable condition’, according to police.
Two air ambulances and dozens of police officers were called to the Naval Memorial at 9pm on Monday, after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest.

The teenager suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital.
Now police say that he remains in hospital and is in a stable condition.
A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man from Southsea were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain in police custody.
A spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘The two people arrested yesterday remain in police custody – no further arrests made at this time.’
The distressing crime caused widespread shock across Southsea, with police cordoning off the Naval Memorial for much of Tuesday.
