A TEENAGER from Portsmouth has been charged with driving dangerously while disqualified after a police chase across the city.

The pursuit began on Saturday July 3 when patrolling officers attempted to stop a black Vauxhall Astra on Allaway Avenue, after the car was flagged as being uninsured.

But the driver failed to stop for police, resulting in a pursuit that ended with the Astra being boxed in by several police vehicles in Northern Parade.

Now 18-year-old Keiron Mills, from Mayo Close, Portsmouth, has been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving without insurance, and driving whilst disqualified.
