Portsmouth Magistrates' Court sees 3 staff test positive for Covid-19

Three members of staff at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court have tested positive for Covid-19.

Cases are continuing to be heard at the building in Winston Churchill Avenue in the city centre, despite calls for a shutdown and deep clean.

HM Courts and Tribunal Service said the staff had not stepped foot inside the building six days prior to receiving a positive test result.

The staff members immediately isolated after showing symptoms.
