Police update after man set upon by group of teenagers outside Fareham Train Station

Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a couple were confronted outside Fareham Train Station at the end of last year.

The incident occurred between 7.30pm and 7.40pm on December 14, when a man and woman were approached by teenagers (three boys and two girls). The group tried to take the man’s rucksack and assaulted him causing a minor injury.

The group were described as being between 16-20-years-old, white, with one wearing a grey hoodie and another member of the group dressed in all black. It is believed they left the area on the E4 bus toward Redlands Lane.

A witness appeal was issued by the police two days later and now the CCTV image of a man has been released as it calls from help from the public.
