Baby lamb found lost in Gosport
Police in Gosport had an unusual find when they were out on patrol in Gosport when they same across a lamb which had lost its mum.
Officers from Gosport's Neighbourhood Team made the find on Thursday (April 16) following a call from a member of the public who had heard it bleating.

“Somewhat confused (the officers and the lamb), and with no sign of it's mum in the area, the officers took it to Alver Vets at The Crossways,” Hampshire Police said.
“They were brilliant and immediately took it into their care whilst the officers contacted our Rural Team to get advice and see if the owner could be found. Staff at Alver Vets fed it through the night and whilst we couldn't find an owner they were able to find it a foster home on a farm with sheep and other such farmyard animals.
“If you or someone you know thinks they may have one less sheep than they did last week, please get in touch and we will see if we can get it back to it's mum.”
