Police arrest wanted man with Portsmouth FC tattoo
Police have arrested a wanted man with a Portsmouth FC tattoo on his left leg.
Hampshire Police released a picture of bare-chested man wanted over three incidents of shoplifting in the Bordon and Petersfield areas in September.
Police have now arrested and charged James McCormack, 44, with shoplifting. “We can confirm that McCormack has been located and subsequently arrested and charged with shoplifting. Thank you for sharing our appeals,” a spokesperson said.
The force previously said: “McCormack is described as: White, 5ft 7ins, of broad build and with blue eyes. He has a number of tattoos including a dot on the first three fingers of his left hand, a Celtic band on his left arm, a small cross on his right arm, a name on his right hand and a Portsmouth FC badge on his left leg.
“We would like to remind people that anyone found to be harbouring him to deliberately obstruct our attempts to locate him may be committing an offence and be liable for arrest themselves.”
