A man has been ordered to appear in court

Months after launching an appeal, police have located a man wanted for reportedly slashing car tyres.

A 44-year-old man from Portsmouth has been issued a postal requisition to attend Portsmouth Magistrates Court on October 26 for one count of criminal damage.

This comes after police received reports that at approximately 12.50pm on Monday, April 6 a man slashed a tyre on a grey Tesla which was parked on Raglan Street, Southsea.

The police released an appeal for information on April 21, urging members of the public with information to come forward.
